Samsung Galaxy S7 Exynos 8890 VS LG G5 with Snapdragon 820 benchmark tests

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 system chip in the United States, but the international version of the phone will actually be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 SoC.

It was exactly the Galaxy S7 with Exynos 8890 that was up for display at Mobile World Congress 2016, and we took the time to run a few benchmark tests and measure the capabilities of the new chip.

The Exynos 8890 is built on the 14nm manufacturing process and it’s an octa core chip packing four high-performance cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz and four battery-savvy cores running at up to 1.5GHz.
